The Czech Agriculture and Food Inspection Authority (CAFIA) sampled a lot of food supplement MAXXES that contained unauthorised substance sildenafil. The sample was taken via www.uspechmuze.cz
Sildenafil is used to treat erectile dysfunction. With regard to possible undesirable effects, this substance is authorised for medicaments which are prescribed by medical practitioners only.
Laboratory analysis proved presence of sildenafil at following lot of the product: MAXXES, use by date by: 10/2018, amount of sildenafil: 48.4 mg/1 tablet.
Company MahoNet, s.r.o., Holečkova 49/789, 15000 Prague was the seller of the product and company IPEX – PRAHA s.r.o., Dominova 2463/15, Prague 13 was then the distributor.
