During an inspection of goods in the customs warehouse, inspectors from the CAFIA Inspectorate in Plzeň found a non-complying foodstuff attached to a toy Jeep from China. The product with trade denomination “Jeep with 8g Jelly Bean Candy” is consisted of a plastic little car and a little package of sweets in its freight space. Analyses showed that the sweets contain colouring E110 – synthetic yellow SY in the amount exceeding the limit.

CAFIA issued a denial statement on the non-complying foodstuff which is now at the warehouse of the Customs Authority in Plzeň and was not released into circulation. The product will be officially destroyed after the proceeding is terminated.
