Warning against the food supplement Hydroxycut
06/21/2010The Czech Agriculture and Food Inspection Authority received the health assessment of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic concerning the food supplement Hydroxycut. According to the ministry, this supplement cannot be considered as safe, therefore it cannot be sold in the Czech Republic. CAFIA now carries out controls with the aim to prevent this food supplement from being put into circulation. It recommends to consumers not to buy the above mentioned supplement and, in case they already store it at home, not to consume it.
The ministry issued its evaluation on the basis of a suggestion when consumption of this food supplement caused serious health consequences. The food supplement Hydroxycut is of foreign provenience, it usually comes from the U. S. A. and from Canada. Many different variations and lots of this supplement are available on the Czech market; it is sold primarily on the Internet. Due to precautionary reasons now CAFIA bans all variations and lots.
