CAFIA immediately imposed a ban on the sale of the spices and ordered to withdraw the product from all customers. Currently, almost 5,800 pieces of packaging of the contaminated Pepper mixture are stored at the central warehouse of the supplier, kept aside of retail network.

CAFIA also identified Salmonella during the inspection of the UNIKOM wholesale warehouse of foodstuffs in Kutná Hora.
