06/11/2019

The Czech Agriculture and Food Inspection Authority (CAFIA) found an unauthorized substance – magnesium in metal form in food supplement “Molecular Hydrogen H2 Viva”, lot: LOT#14498, country of origin: the USA.

CAFIA carried out an inspectional purchase of the foodstuff via www.health-detox.cz operated by company Jan Trávníček, Chříč 72, 331 41. The laboratory analysis detected presence of particles of metal magnesium amounting to 20-30% per one pill. Metal magnesium is a strongly reactive substance before properly dissolved in water and may thus pose a risk to human health.

Company AlkaViva, LLC, 8745 Technology Way C, Reno, the United States supplied the goods into the CR. Company Nature Force s.r.o., Vitkova 243/13, Prague then delivered the foodstuff to the inspected person.

The inspected person does not place the foodstuff on the market anymore, however, CAFIA strongly warns all consumers who own the foodstuff in question that they do not eat it. Information on the CAFIA detection was notified into the European Rapid Alert System RASFF. CAFIA will initiate an administrative procedure on imposition of a fine with the inspected person.
