Tests established Listeria in salads. CAFIA banned their production

10/04/2007

The Czech Agriculture and Food Inspection Authority (CAFIA) banned production of foodstuffs at Gastroton, 52 Dvouletky Street, Ostrava-Hrabůvka. This measure was imposed because laboratory tests had established that two delicatessen products contained a high level of Listeria monocytogenes. The products concerned were Vlašský Salad and Parisian Salad, both in a packaging of 130 g and with use by dates of 4 October 2007

The Inspection Authority advises consumers who still have these salads in their fridges not to eat them.
