Swab samples were negative, production in Klatovy can resume

Food business in Gorgkého Street in Klatovy belonging to company Maso West can resume the production of delicatessen products from Monday 8 January 2007. The Czech Agriculture and Food Inspection Authority has lifted the ban on production imposed on 2 January (see press release of that day published at www.szpi.gov.cz).

Maso West has implemented all measures imposed by the Inspection Authority. These measures included complete sanitization and subsequent disinfection of manufacturing and storage premises and manufacturing equipment. Results of swab samples taken from manufacturing equipment and premises for the presence of Listeria monocytogenes were negative.
