So far, results of analyses of eleven samples are known, of which one sample failed to comply with the requirements laid down by the legislation for this beverage because it contained added water. Similarly as in the case of wine, half-fermented wine cannot be multiplied with exogenous water. Half-fermented wine contained at least 41% of exogenous water. Inspectors took the sample in Říčany in the Central Bohemian region at a stall owned by Richard Tóth from Hodonice, South Moravia. According to him, the supplier of this beverage is Lukamel, Zbýšov u Brna. The CAFIA will initiate administrative proceedings against the seller.

The CAFIA will continue with inspections throughout the whole period when half-fermented wine can be sold, therefore until 30 November. The samples are analysed using own equipment working on the principle of nuclear magnetic resonance and isotope analysis.
