Following the notification of company Mars Nederland B. V. concerning the risk of presence of red plastic fragments in certain products which are now being withdrawn from the market including the Czech one, the Czech Agriculture and Food Inspection Authority (CAFIA) specifies the production lots that were distributed onto the Czech market. The information is based on the Rapid Alert for Food and Feed (RASFF) notification and subsequent investigation at the distributor. Following lots are concerned:

Mars multipack 4 pieces (four pieces of the product in one package): lot 550B2NLD03 (best before by 4.9.2016) and lot 602F3NLD03 (best before by 9.10.2016),

Snickers Minis bag 170g: lot 550E2NLD04 (best before by 10. 7. 2016) and lot 550E3NLD04 (best before by 10. 7. 2016),

Mars Minis bag 170g: lot 551G3NLD04 (best before by 11. 9. 2016).

Mars Nederland B.V., based on Taylorweg 5, 5466 AE VEGHEL, the Netherlands is the producer of the foodstuffs in question, company Mars Czech s.r.o. is then the importer into the CR.

CAFIA ordered to withdraw the deficient lots from the market network as soon as possible. CAFIA recommends all consumers that they do not eat the lots in question.
