Maso West can produce Pineapple Dessert

Food business of Maso West s.r.o. in Gorkého Street, Klatovy, can again produce Pineapple Dessert. The Czech Agriculture and Food Inspection Authority (CAFIA) on 10 May lifted the ban imposed on its production. Maso West has provided evidence that the production of this dessert is safe.

The CAFIA banned the production of this dessert, together with other two kinds of salads and garnished eggs (batches specified in CAFIA press release of 15 March), for laboratory analyses revealed that they contained Listeria monocytogenes. The company could resume production of salads and garnished eggs already on 19 March.
