Jednota Svitavy must not produce salads. The reason is Listeria

The Czech Agriculture and Food Inspection Authority on 29 December banned food business Jednota, consumer cooperative Svitavy, place of business Na Červenici 1904, Svitavy from producing delicatessen salads and open sandwiches it had been manufacturing.

The ban applies until the company provides the Inspection Authority with demonstrable evidence that the production of food is safe.

The ban was imposed because laboratory analysis of Svitavský salad (produced on 20 December and to be used by 25 December) determined the presence of Listeria monocytogenes in this salad.
