The Czech Agriculture and Food Inspection Authority on 2 January 2007 banned production of delicatessen products in a food business in Gorkého Street in Klatovy, belonging to company Maso West.

Laboratory analysis of salad Rumcajs, use-by date 10 January 2007, determined the presence of Listeria in this salad.
The company was immediately ordered to withdraw the lot from suppliers. The ban on the production applies until the company provides the Inspection Authority with demonstrable evidence that the production of food is safe.
