The Czech Agriculture and Food Inspection Authority on Friday 5 January 2007 banned the production of delicatessen products in Jindřich Kosina’s food business in Seč.

Laboratory analysis of delicatessen salad (use-by date: 1 January 2007) produced by him determined the presence of Listeria in this salad.

The ban on the production applies until the company provides the Inspection Authority with demonstrable evidence that the production of food is safe.
