Inspection Authority closed down store in Vojtanov for rodents’ presence

Extensive violation of hygienic rules including pests‘ presence was revealed by the Czech Agriculture and Food Inspection Authority (hereinafter CFIA only) in store Lan Nguyen Ngoc based on Horní Vojtanov 40, 351 34 Vojtanov. During its inspection on 10, June 2013 CAFIA found hints showing presence of rodents especially mouse excrements in the store area and beneath shelves. Retail premises operator did not ensure sufficient protection against incoming pests from outside at store entrance and at entrance to the storehouse in basement. CAFIA also detected presence of many cobwebs and insects. Moreover, premises operator did not provide required storage temperature for food in cooling box and cheese for slicing had no Czech instructions.
For the reason of the findings above, CAFIA immediately closed down the store unless the operator will arrange remedy of findings. CAFIA forbid selling any products kept in inappropriate temperatures as well as insufficiently labeled products. The Inspection Authority will launch an administrative sanction procedure.
