In relation to further investigation of the presence of unsafe cherry tomatoes on the Czech market, the Czech Agriculture and Food Inspection Authority (CAFIA) notifies that health risks – in particular vomiting, impaired digestion or stomach cramps may concern also other lots of foodstuffs than those of which the Czech Republic was informed by the French supervisory authority via the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF). Based on the precautionary principle and with regard to this stage of investigation, CAFIA recommends all consumers they do not consume any cherry tomatoes labelled as originating in Morocco.
