The Czech Agriculture and Food Inspection Authority (CAFIA) found unsafe food supplement SURVIVAL Tribulus Terrestris 90% Fair Power packaged à 90 capsules, lot 3TM90060, produced by Sport Wave s.r.o., Bruslařská 1185/16, 102 00 Prague 10.

A laboratory analysis showed presence of forbidden substance1-dehydroandrostenedion (0,476 mg/kg), which is regarded as a substance with anabolic effect and it is classified as androgenic anabolic steroid. Presence of such substance in foodstuffs is not authorised by legislation. Health complications may arise in case this substance is consumed in higher amount.

Putting this product into circulation, food legislation was violated by seller DAFIT s. r. o., Dobronická 778, 14800 Prague. CAFIA ordered withdrawal from the market and an administrative procedure on imposition of a fine will be initiated with the operator.
