Since put into operation, the internet application Food Pillory has been in the spotlight of public interest. The application has been available since 10^th July 2012 from 2:30 p.m. and registered over 200,000 unique visitors during the first 24 hours of its operation. These visitors spent on the website 6:45 minutes in average and displayed nearly four million pages.

The application is particularly intended for consumers and bodies of public administration not only in the Czech Republic but also in the European Union. It contains information about poor-quality, adulterated and dangerous foodstuffs which were detected by supervisory authorities in commercial network.
