The Czech Agriculture and Food Inspection Authority (CAFIA) was awarded by the Pan-European Society for Culture, Education and Scientific and Technical Cooperation Comenius as part of the 30th edition of the “Czech 100 Best” ranking.

Nominations are regularly determined based on a survey among key actors, mainly from the private and public sectors. The declared aim of the competition is to recognize domestic entities that achieve “outstanding, extraordinary, or positively remarkable results”. CAFIA was awarded within the 2025 Agriculture and Food Industry sector category.

"I see the nomination of the CAFIA among the Czech 100 best as an award for the long-term professional performance of the office's employees and recognition of the key role of the CAFIA in cultivating the domestic food market. The professional background and transparent publication of inspection results are comparable to the top of food supervision within the EU. I see the award as motivation for the office's further activities," said the CAFIA's central director Martin Klanica.
