CAFIA lifted ban on production of delicatessen products at Extim Profi

10/22/2007

The Czech Agriculture and Food Inspection Authority (CAFIA) lifted the ban imposed on the production of delicatessen products at the company Extim Profi in Frýdek-Místek.

The company carried out a complete sanitization of the establishment and disinfection of manufacturing premises. It also implemented other measures imposed by the Inspection Authority. Furthermore, it submitted a certificate from an accredited laboratory on analyses of raw materials, and testing samples of Whipped Niva. Laboratory analyses confirmed that non-compliances had been removed.

The CAFIA informed in its press release of 17 October that it had suspended production at the company Extim Profi in Frýdek-Místek, because laboratory analysis of Whipped Niva had established a high level of Listeria monocytogenes.
