During a common inspection at the premises of BILLA company, the Czech Agriculture and Food Inspection Authority (CAFIA) sampled cheese Zott – Zottarella, mozzarella Light 8.5% of fat, soft cheese in salt pickle, producer: Zott SE&Co.KG, D86690, Mertingen, Germany. The producer indicated on the labelling: fat 8.5% and dry matter at least 30%. However, results of the laboratory analysis proved that the fat amounts to 7.92% only and dry matter to 27.44% only and consumers thus were misled.

With regard to the use by date 5^th April 2016, the product in question is not on the market anymore. CAFIA will initiate an administrative procedure on imposition of a fine with the inspected person.
