The Czech Agriculture and Food Inspection Authority (CAFIA) warns consumers not to eat Fish Spread with a use by date of 22 July, made by Gurmán Klub Kamenné Žehrovice. Fish spread was packed in small tubs of 150 grams.

Furthermore, consumers are warned not to eat two products of Svopex FOOD Paskov, specifically Parisian Salad with a use by date of 21 July and Egg Salad with a use by date of 22 July. Laboratory analyses of these food products revealed the presence of Listeria monocytogenes.

Gurmán Klub Kamenné Žehrovice made 227 kilograms of Fish Spread of the above batch, which was distributed by a Prague company called Alimpex Food. Both companies have to withdraw the spread from the market. Part of the batch has already been sold to consumers.

Svopex FOOD Paskov made 59.93 kilograms of Parisian Salad and 29.90 kilograms of Egg Salad of the above batches. The company has to withdraw them from the market, however, again, part of them have already been sold.

Production at Gurmán Klub and Svopex FOOD was stopped and further measures were imposed.
