The Czech Agriculture and Food Inspection Authority (CAFIA) continues to detect meat and milk products made by foreign producers and significantly violating legislation. Laboratory analyses repeatedly detect parameters proving adulteration of foodstuffs even after uncertainty in measurement is taken into consideration. Missing valuable ingredient of the product, for example lower proportion of meat than stated on the labelling or lower proportion of milk dry matter in milk product is a typical violation – this situation concerns in particular of cheeses, which significantly modifies its features.
