The Czech Agriculture and Food Inspection Authority (CAFIA) closed today premises of Jaroslav Veselý in Chodov Nr. 25 in district of Domažlice.
Serious hygiene deficiencies found at the selling area and in the storage as well were the reason. In particular mice excrements under and in shelves at the selling area and in the storage area were concerned.
The inspection revealed further hygiene deficiencies, for example dust in and under shelves and filth near two freezers.
From the reasons mentioned above, CAFIA ordered the operator to ensure immediate cleaning and disinfection of the whole premises and also rodent extermination by a specialised company. The shop will be re-opened after a follow-up inspection focused on verification whether the imposed measures were fulfilled. CAFIA will initiate an administrative procedure on imposition of a fine with the seller.
