Samples of bio-cucumbers taken at company Country Life did not contained dangerous subtype of bacteria Escherichia Coli. This was confirmed by today's results of laboratory analyses. Already yesterday evening, the German authorities recalled the previous notification indicating that bio-cucumbers supplied by the German distributor to company Country Life were contaminated by the dangerous subtype of bacteria E. coli.

Based on the new results of the own investigation and on information received from German side, the Food Inspection Authority thus re-establishes the original frequency of inspections of fresh vegetables.
