One more inspection excluded contamination of Coca-Cola in the manufacturing process

03/05/2003

A repeated detailed inspection carried out by inspectors of the Czech Agriculture and Food Inspection Authority in the company Coca-Cola Beverages Czech Republic, spol. s r.o.,  excluded again the potentiality of Coca-Cola having been contaminated in the course of technological process. The results of inspection also excluded any damage caused to packaging.

The dealer, who happened to sell Coca-cola to a German citizen, submitted delivery notes, which confirmed that he had purchased the Coca-Cola directly from the producer. However, the delivery documents do not specify more closely a production batch.

The Czech Agriculture and Food Inspection Authority commenced investigating this case upon receiving information about health problems of a German citizen who is said to have bought the Coca-Cola at a marketplace nearby Cheb.

CAFIA have not yet discovered any relation to the previous case that was reported on 25 February.
