According to the Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 of the European Parliament and of the Council on maximum residue levels of pesticides in or on food and feed of plant and animal origin, Member States shall participate in the Community control programmeto ensure compliance with maximum levels of pesticide residues in or on food and feed of plant and animal origin. The Community control programme is included in the national control programme to monitor the presence of the pesticide residues in food in the Czech republic. The implementing requirements of the Community control programme are specified in applicable legislation for the year 2008, i.e. Commission Recommendation 2008/103/EC.
In accordance with the Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 Article 30, Member States should publish the results of national monitoring residues on the Internet.
