A very detailed inspection that the inspectors of the Czech Agriculture and Food Inspection carried out in the production premises of Coca-Cola Beverages Czech, spol. s r.o., excluded any chance of Coca-Cola getting contaminated in the manufacturing process of this beverage.

The CAFIA inspectors carefully examined, apart from other things, not only the proper technological equipment for filing Coca-Cola in bottles, but they also reviewed compliance with the so-called system of critical points in production, which is to ensure safety of the beverages manufactured here. The results obtained provide no evidence of a potential contamination of the beverage in the course of production by an unknown liquid, which might cauterise mucous membrane of consumers.

The Czech Agriculture and Food Inspection Authority carried out an inspection of the manufacturing technique of the above company producing Coca-Cola after a woman was hospitalised in the Hradec Králové with a cauterised throat.
