Evaluation and classification of wine
Pursuant to Section 26 of the Act, evaluation and classification of wine is carried out by the Commission of the Czech Agriculture and Food Inspection Authority for Evaluation and Classification of Wine(hereinafter „Commission“ only).
Members of the Commission are natural persons represented by experts in winemaking with valid certificates on passing the sensory examination held by the Czech Agriculture and Food Inspection Authority or sensory examination according to the International Standard Organisation (ISO), Deutsches Institut für Normung (DIN) or Österreichische Norm (ÖNORM). Copies of the certificates of all members are kept by the Inspection Authority.
